Fans Angry as Hulu Live Broadcast Crashes During MLB Playoffs

The Cleveland Guardians completed an unlikely comeback against the New York Yankees in Game 3 of the ALCS, but those watching on Hulu Live were not able to see it.

The streaming service's live broadcast apparently crashed on Thursday night, leaving those watching the Yankees game and the NLCS contest between the New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers forced to see an error screen.

Though Hulu did not offer an immediate explanation as to what caused the live broadcasts to crash, many fans took to social media to complain about the untimely interruption.

"Hulu Live tv really crashed during the MLB playoffs the same day they raised the price to $83/mo," one baseball fan wrote in a post on X . "They are practically begging everyone to leave for YouTube TV"

"Hulu crashing as this playoff baseball is happening is a national travesty," another fan posted on X .

The Hulu Live crash came at a particularly difficult time for those watching the Yankees-Guardians game. The Yankees went into the ninth inning with a 5-3 lead, but the Guardians tied the game on a two-run home run from Jhonkensy Noel. The Guardians then won it in the tenth inning on another two-run home run from David Fry.
