The last time former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Gehrig Dieter attended an MLB playoff game, he had former teammate Patrick Mahomes up in his face taunting him during the New York Yankees-Kansas City Royals American League Divisional Series.

Dieter had a vastly different experience during Game 1 of the American League Championship Series between the Yankees and Cleveland Guardians on Monday in the presence of another former teammate, Travis Kelce, and his girlfriend Taylor Swift.

A known Yankees fan, Dieter documented his experience during the Yankees’ 5-2 win on Instagram. Among the pictures the 31-year-old former NFLer posted is one of him and his 3-year-old daughter Gigi posing for a photo with Swift and another of Gigi sitting in Kelce’s lap.

“Memories of a lifetime with Gigi,” Dieter wrote.

The comment section was filed to the brim with several fans expressing their approval of Deieter’s huge parenting win, with some even expressing their envy of Gigi’s night.

“Queen Gigi having the best day ever!” one fan wrote.

“Yay Gigi! Living her best life,” another commented.

“Gigi already living my dream life,” a third remarked.

“She will never forget that brother. Well done!” exclaimed another.

Dieter played three seasons in the NFL from 2018 to 2020 — all with the Chiefs. He ended his career with two catches for 32 yards and three special teams tackles.

The Alabama alum signed with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2018, and he won a Super Bowl ring with Kansas City in 2020. He spent the 2021 season on KC’s practice squad and retired in June 2022.
