From preseason top 10 to an unranked afterthought, the Florida State Seminoles received a title you never want to earn from the Fox "Big Noon Kickoff" crew. The squad was unanimous in naming Florida State as college football's most disappointing team following their Friday night loss to the Duke Blue Devils on the road.

The 23-16 loss moves Duke to 6-1 while the Seminoles dropped to 1-6.

"I think the expectations too were high because of what they did a year ago," Brady Quinn said. "It's not so much the players and coaches, but it's the fans."

Quinn didn't aim his disappointment at all FSU fans, but specifically one who made a bold prediction in Week 1 about what he'd eat if the Seminoles lost to Boston College.

The Seminoles are the first team ranked in the preseason top 10 to start a season 1-6. They've made a switch at quarterback, benching transfer D.J. Uiagalelei in favor of Brock Glenn, but it hasn't made a difference in the results.

"I expected Florida State to have a letdown type of year," Fox analyst Chris Fallica said.

The Seminoles opened with an over-under of 9.5 wins this year according to VegasInsider.com , but they've already hit the under with such a poor start to the season.
