The Ohio State Buckeyes lost a thrilling college football game that many fans have dubbed the game of the year last week in Eugene, Oregon.

Now, coach Ryan Day and the Buckeyes have been left to pick up the pieces of what could have been a season-defining win against the second ranked team in the country.

Day took to the radio airwaves during Ohio State's bye week to discuss the team's goals moving forward, insisting that OSU is not dwelling on the tough 32-31 loss.

"The focus is on moving forward," Day said .

The Buckeyes have a home matchup with Matt Rhule's Nebraska Cornhuskers on the docket at the Horsehoe next weekend after the Cornhuskers were demolished 56-7 at the hands of the undefeated Indiana Hoosiers in Bloomington on Saturday.

Day cited the running game and winning the turnover battle as two key areas of focus heading into next week.

"Those things have to get fixed," Day said, adding that the Buckeyes will be "right where (they) need to be" should his team win its next six games.

He intimated that the Buckeyes aren't trying to play the blame game with another tough task ahead of them this weekend.

"There wasn't a whole bunch of finger-pointing," he said. "We got to learn from it and move on."

Quit talking and start doing. The first thing that needs to be done is bench Burke after that horrid display of lacking coverage
