Detroit Lions running back David Montgomery left the game against the Minnesota Vikings with an apparent leg injury on Sunday.

However, the running back was seen on the exercise bike as he attempts to get back in the game versus Minnesota.

It would be a huge blow for the Lions if Montgomery can't return as the team will have to lean on Jahmyr Gibbs, who has already stepped up since Montgomery left the game.

The speedster took off for a 45-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to cut the lead to 10-7 Vikings. It was the longest run the Vikings defense has allowed this season.

Before leaving the game on Sunday, Montgomery had two carries for three yards and two catches for 25 yards.
