Eagles Fans All Saying The Same Thing About Sack Attack vs. Giants

Before their bye week, the Philadelphia Eagles defensive line recorded just six sacks in the first four games of the regular season.

In the last two games alone, the Birds have recorded 12. Eight of them came in their latest victory over the New York Giants Sunday afternoon. The best part of the group's dominant performance?

    Everyone took part.

Six different players recorded sacks for the Eagles on Sunday. Only two, Nakobe Dean and Jalen Carter, recorded multiple sacks throughout the game.

Whether it was Bryce Huff, Josh Sweat, or Nolan Smith, the Eagles used their defensive line in waves to get after Daniel Jones. The onslaught was so bad, that the Giants pulled Jones with over 12 minutes to go in the game - feeling it wasn't worth putting their quarterback on the field to be killed in a lost game.

Heck, even third-round rookie Jalyx Hunt recorded a sack and forced fumble late in garbage time as well.

Philadelphia fans will all say the same thing here: This has always been considered an elite defense when they use their edge rushers in waves to get after the passer. While sacks certainly come in bunches, the Eagles should feel pleased with how their defense has looked in back-to-back weeks.

And it might only be getting better.
