Postgame Handshake Between Joe Burrow, Myles Garrett Goes Viral

The Cincinnati Bengals entered Sunday's matchup seeking their first win in Cleveland during the Joe Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase era, and they achieved just that.

The Bengals defeated the Browns 21-14, thanks to a strong defensive performance and a solid second half from Joe Burrow. The mood in Cleveland was dampened, however, after quarterback Deshaun Watson went down and was carted off with an apparent Achilles injury, which is expected to be season-ending.

With the loss, the Browns fell to 1-6 and now sit at the bottom of the AFC North. Despite the disappointment, Browns star Myles Garrett shared a memorable moment with Joe Burrow postgame, celebrating Burrow's first win in Cleveland.

After being shared on the Bengals' social media platforms, the interaction quickly went viral, surpassing 500 likes and 11,000 views in just the first twenty minutes.

Both Myles Garrett and Joe Burrow have immense respect for one another, as they are two of the best at their respective positions in the league. Surprisingly, Garrett didn’t record any sacks on Burrow this time, despite usually dominating the Cincinnati front.

Now, it seems these two teams are headed in different directions. The Bengals have won two straight and three of their last four, improving to 3-4 with a significant matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles on the horizon.

Meanwhile, the Browns are struggling at 1-6, having lost five consecutive games, and will need to navigate the rest of the season with either second-string quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson or Jameis Winston with Watson expected to be out for the rest of the year with two years still remaining on his contract.
