Fans React To Jayden Daniels' Mom's 2-Word Injury Update

It is, frankly, a bit too early on this Sunday afternoon for fans of the Washington Commanders to quit holding their figurative and collective breath regarding rookie quarterback and an injury suffered here in Week 7.

But Jayden's mom is doing her part to help.

Daniels, who has been brilliant through six games and was off to a winning start against the Panthers here,, appeared to suffer some sort of rib injury in the first quarter. He was first taken into the blue medical tent, and then taken into the locker room for further evaluation, including X-rays.

All scary stuff for the Commanders and their fans, as Daniels, who went No. 2 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, is "the franchise here.''

But to the rescue (maybe?) comes Daniels' mom, who took to social media to calm the nerves of anxious fans. Mom, Regina Jackson posted a simple two-word message for the fan base.

"He's fine," she wrote.

Now - and we say this with the greatest respect with the loving know-how of a mom - we assume Jackson is passing on a short-hand version of a short-hand version of a message she received from Daniels. That doesn't exactly mean he's not hurting, nor does it mean he's not hurt; he has been ruled out for this game. But it's an early sign that allows Commanders fans to breathe easier - while all hope Jayden himself can do the same.
