Angel Reese's Postgame Exchange With Breanna Stewart, Jonquel Jones Is Turning Heads

The New York Liberty are officially the 2024 WNBA title winners. After a 67-62 Game 5 victory over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday, the Liberty were crowned champions, seemingly sparking a celebration in New York.

While she wasn't competing for the WNBA title, Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese was in attendance for Game 5 and joined in on the celebration after the Liberty's historic win.

Reese posted a few pictures from the game's aftermath. She presented a few selfies with Liberty stars Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones.

The rookie posted a collage of photos on her Instagram story with the caption "WNBA FINALS " and the confetti emoji.

WNBA fans reacted to Reese's interaction with Stewart and Jones, sharing a few differing responses to the exchange.

Some were simply congratulating Liberty on winning the WNBA title, while others were focused on the championship experience for Reese.

"Hopefully some of that championship bound energy rub off for the next season," said another fan .

Jonquel Jones finished the series as the WNBA finals MVP. In Game 5 of the series, Jones recorded 17 points, six rebounds and one assist. During the five-game stretch, Jones averaged 17.8 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game.

Breanna Stewart ended Game 5 with 13 points, 15 rebounds and four assists.
