Steph Curry Clowns Sabrina Ionescu's Celebration With WNBA Championship Trophy

Sabrina Ionescu is now a WNBA champion at last after the New York Liberty outlasted the Minnesota Lynx in a nerve-wracking 67-62 win at home on Sunday night over the Minnesota Lynx. It was a hard-fought game, with the Liberty needing overtime to pull off the victory.

Ionescu didn't shoot particularly well against the Lynx, but she surely doesn't mind about all the shots she missed as the Liberty got crowned as champs when it was all said and done on the court.

However, the hard part didn't seem to end for Ionescu even after the game. While celebrating and posing for photos with the WNBA championship trophy, the former Oregon Ducks star suddenly suffered cramps in her left leg.

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry saw a clip of Ionescu's postgame battle with cramps and had a hilarious reaction to it.

Ionescu scored just five points in Game 5 of the 2024 WNBA Finals. In what was one of the most horrid shooting performances in a playoff game, Ionescu went just 1-for-19 from the floor.

She finished with just five points after 40 minutes of running up and down the court. Then again, her forgettable shooting performance ultimately did not prevent her from celebrating a title victory.

Fortunately for Ionescu and the Liberty, Jonquel Jones was able to lead the team with 17 points, while Breanna Stewart chipped in 13 points and 15 rebounds in the title-clinching win.
