Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry is ready to make a statement this 2024-25 NBA season.

In a recent interview on Sirius XM with Rob Perez, Curry expressed his clear focus on winning another championship, saying , "A championship is literally the only thing I’m playing for at this point."

Curry, unarguably the greatest player in the history of the Warriors, has experienced great success in his career, leading the team to four championship titles in 2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022.

Now, after facing challenges in the past couple of years, he is eager for another chance to win.

"I truly believe we can be championship relevant," Curry stated, showing his confidence in the team.

Curry believes in the Warriors' capabilities, recalling their past successes and the trophies they have won.

The Warriors are coming off a tough season, finishing with a 46-36 record and missing the playoffs entirely. This year, Curry and the team are entering the season with a renewed sense of purpose and determination.

"We're probably not going to be the favorites in any conversation, but we have a team that is capable of achieving that level again" he added, emphasizing his belief in the Warriors' potential.

As the regular season begins, the Warriors have momentum from a perfect 6-0 preseason, and they hope to carry this success into their games. Curry participated in four of those preseason games but he missed the last one against the Los Angeles Lakers due to a finger injury he sustained during a game against the Sacramento Kings.

Fortunately, he has been cleared to play and will be available for the Warriors' season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night at the Moda Center in Portland.
