Former second-round pick's candid revelations on cross-town rivals and favorite Clips players.

Signing a three-year, $47M extension with the Clippers this off-season, Terance Mann ended all the rumors of him being traded, at least temporarily. The 2024-25 NBA season could be the turning point for the 28-year-old's career, expected to have an increased role.

The Clippers selected T-Mann as the 48th pick in the 2019 draft. He surpassed all expectations and proved a valuable asset for Coach Ty Lue and Co. The Florida State alumnus impressed us most with his versatility on the floor.

Looking forward to his new chapter with the Clips, Mann hopes to enthrall fans at the newly opened Intuit Dome. In a recent interview with GQ , the 6'5" guard opened up about the difference between watching Lakers and Clippers, revealing his fandom for Corey Maggette, Quentin Richardson, and Darius Miles.

T-Mann talks Lakers vibe and Clips players he looked up to

As the Intuit Dome opens its doors for fans, marking a landmark moment for the LAC franchise, Mann makes a strong statement about watching Lakers games, saying the following.

"The Lakers vibe is more like you will watch a show. Everywhere is dark, the stage is lit up," said the Clips guard, adding, "And ours is more like a basketball game."

Indeed, some strong words come from Mann, who seems to be playing along the narrative of the Hollywood Lakers. However, things don't look very promising for the former team, given Paul George's exit and Kawhi Leonard's being out indefinitely due to injury.

    Childhood memories of the Clippers

Mann's latest interview with GQ also revealed his earliest memories of the LAC, spilling the beans on the veteran he idolized as a child.

"Corey Maggette, Quentin Richardson, Darius, all those guys, man. Lamar Odom when he was here," said T-Mann, further elaborating on their cultural impact on the franchise.

"They were gritty, they were hard-nosed players. It was dope to see those guys start their careers here and take it to a new level. They were dressing the part and following the Allen Iverson wave of headbands, arm sleeves, tattoos, cool sneakers."

Going into his sixth year with the Steve Ballmer organization, Mann is expected to perform well, especially with James Harden being the only star attraction.
