Texas fans were hoping to see a bounce-back performance from Quinn Ewers today after last week's shaky outing in his return from injury. An early interception against Vanderbilt put serious doubt on that possibility, but Ewers has started to put it together. He threw another touchdown in the first quarter against Vanderbilt as Texas took a 14-7 lead in the game.

When he's healthy and seeing the field properly, Ewers is one of the best deep ball passers in the country. He showed why on this touchdown strike to DeAndre Moore Jr., who now leads the team with four catches for 67 yards and the score.

Ewers has now completed 13-14 passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns, along with that early interception, and he's showing the high-level processing ability and anticipatory throwing that had NFL scouts so excited earlier in the season.

Stay tuned for more updates on this SEC battle on Saturday afternoon, as we should be in for an exciting, high-scoring game.
