The Golden State Warriors suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday via a 112-104 loss against the Los Angeles Clippers at Chase Center. To make matters worse, Stephen Curry was unable to finish the game after the GOAT shooter was forced to exit in the fourth quarter due to an ankle injury.

Curry was unable to return after being helped to the locker room. According to reports, the former back-to-back MVP looked like he was "in a lot of pain" as he exited the court.

After the game, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was asked by reporters about the extent of Curry's injury. The four-time NBA champion coach got brutally honest in his response.

"Kerr said Curry described his ankle sprain as 'mild or moderate,'" reported ESPN's Kendra Andrews. "Says it's definitely a concern because he's sprained that ankle so many times before. Curry will get an MRI tonight."

As the report indicates, the Warriors will not get sufficient information on Curry's injury until the results of the MRI come back. However, the fact that there is definite concern on Kerr's end is not exactly the type of statement Dubs fans want to hear right now.

"Damn them ligaments fried," read a comment.

"Welp, it’s been a fun season guys," conceded a fan.

"Warriors about to take 2 days to release the MRI results," reacted a user.

Curry's night ended after 27 minutes played. The 10-time All-Star finished with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting, to go along with four rebounds, six assists, two steals, a block and four triples.

The Warriors are now 2-1 to start the campaign after Sunday's loss.
