In the playoffs, Martin failed to see any time on the court except for a few minutes when a game was out of hand.

With the offseason underway, Martin has made a big career decision that will bring her back to the basketball court starting in Jan. 2025.

The new league will feature six different teams consisting of five players each. The first season will be held in Miami, Florida. Along with the highest average salaries in women's sports history, the 30 players set to join, including Martin, will also receive equity ownership.

Despite the limited playing time down the stretch, Martin remained one of the WNBA's most popular players in 2024. She even had the fourth-highest merchandise sales of any player during the season, ahead of her Aces teammate and league MVP A'ja Wilson.
