Fans Are Saying the Same Thing About Robert Saleh Following Jets' Loss

Robert Saleh’s recent departure from the New York Jets has sparked widespread reactions, especially after the team’s continued struggles.

Since Saleh’s firing on Oct. 8, the Jets have dropped all three of their games, including a narrow 25-22 loss to the New England Patriots in Week 8.

The hope that a leadership change would stabilize the Jets’ season hasn’t materialized, with the team now sitting at 2-6 and facing questions from fans and analysts alike.

On social media, fans have been vocal about their belief that Saleh wasn’t the root of the Jets' issues. Many argue that the problems run deeper, with one fan sharing, “Robert Saleh wasn’t the problem.”

Others have joined in, noting the impact of his departure.

“Can we talk about how Robert Saleh did nothing wrong?” another fan questioned, pointing to the continued struggles post-Saleh.

Even NFL personalities are expressing surprise at the team’s apparent regression. ESPN’s Mina Kimes noted, “The Jets are 0-3 since firing Robert Saleh and were favorites in 2 of those games. Wild.”

Similarly, NFL insider Josina Anderson questioned the decision, asking, “So, are we ready to say firing Robert Saleh appears to be a mistake?”

Amid the ongoing fan frustration, the Jets have been actively reshaping their roster. They recently traded with the Las Vegas Raiders for star wide receiver Davante Adams, hoping to inject new life into their struggling offense. Despite the addition of Adams, the team remains winless in two games since his arrival, prompting fans to question if the coaching remains a significant issue given the talent on the roster.

Reflecting this sentiment, one fan remarked, “Saleh was an unfair scapegoat, and the move looks even worse now.”

Only time will tell if the Jets can turn things around, but for now, fans remain vocal, questioning if the team truly understood the full impact of Saleh's departure.
