The best shot for a little rain today will be in the morning, especially along and south of the MA Pike. Thunderstorms will pop up in NY and western New England this afternoon, but I’m not expecting much locally. Keep your outdoor plans and be ready for elevated humidity and highs in the low to mid 70s. An abundance of clouds Thursday will help limit thunderstorms coverage as a cold from passes through in the afternoon. Just isolated coverage is expected with more mostly dry and muggy weather. A $25 million project to convert two vacant Winchendon school buildings into low-income housing for veterans and their families has received another economic boost.
