Megan Hilty, Christine Ebersole, Gavin Creel Will Be Part of Broadway in Worcester Season
Broadway in Worcester's 2024–2025 season in Worcester, Massachusetts, will feature several Broadway favorites at the Jean McDonough Arts Center BrickBox Theater. The concert series will launch September 13 with An Evening With Megan Hilty, just weeks before the Smash and Wicked star returns to Broadway in the new musical Death Becomes Her. Attendees can expect a set list ranging from Broadway hits to country classics and "everything in between."
Measles cases confirmed in New Hampshire; Health Officials Urge Vaccination

Legion Ave parking lot to be closed for paving
GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Paving work for the Legion Avenue Parking Lot behind Green Fields Market will begin this Friday, July 26th with milling. Paving is expected to take place on Monday and then painting will follow. While this parking lot will be closed, City Hall, Chapman/Davis, Ames Street, and Miles Street lots will all be available to residents and parking pass holders.
Massachusetts teen accused of murdering 17-year-old in Market Basket lot captured in Dominican Republic
Lynn, Mass. – Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of Kai Burgos, 17, of Lynn, that took place in the 40 Federal Street parking lot of Market Basket in Lynn on June 15. Adrian Pena, 18, of Lynn is now in custody after being apprehended by the U.S. Marshals Service in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday, July 16. The suspect in the fatal shooting will be arraigned on a fugitive from justice charge in Miami. In addition to the U.S. Marshals Service, the Lynn Police Department, the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, the State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Office of Essex County District Attorney Paul Tucker, and law enforcement officials in the Dominican Republic contributed to the investigation.
