According to Abilities Plus, Kenna Nimrick was chosen because she participates in her classes and is very helpful to people around her. Keena has a great sense of humor and enjoys a good joke. She is always friendly and respectful to people around her. She enjoys watching movies, playing games, and spending time with her family. Keena resides in Kewanee with her family. Girls Little League team wraps up season undefeated
The Kewanee Park District’s Girls Little League finished up and this year’s the champions were the Breedloves Sporting Goods team. Coached by Jarrod Galli and Nichelle Morey, the girls finished their season with an 8-0 record. Team members were Emmelyn Swearingen, Karlee Branom, Addison Talbot, Ivy Ouart, Addisyn Ingle, Kamdyn Powell, Piper Galli, Meagan Ouart, Taylor Fink, Piper Acuff, Scarlett Morey and Jorrie Miskinis.
