A Nashville health food restaurant and juice bar wants to enter the Atlanta market. <\p> E+Rose Wellness Co. plans to open a roughly 1,500-square-foot location in West Midtown, according to a building permit filed in Atlanta. It will come to Westside Provisions District on Howell Mill Road, a few doors down from West Egg Cafe. The build out is estimated to cost $280,000, according to the permit. <\p>
Construction begins on BeltLine affordable housing
Construction on a BeltLine-adjacent, mixed-use revitalization project is underway on Atlanta’s Southside.<\p> Atlanta Housing broke ground on Englewood Senior Thursday, May 23. It's the first of several residential developments that will form a master-planned community in Chosewood Park along the BeltLine’s Southside Trail.<\p>

Report details Qcells' impact on Georgia; home installations may drop
Qcells has created thousands of jobs and billions in sales in North Georgia, according to a new report. <\p> The Korea-based company, which creates solar panels and other components for the solar supply chain, has created about 3,800 direct jobs in Bartow and Whitfield Counties by the end of last year, per the Chmura JobsEQ Q4 2023 report, provided by the Cartersville-Bartow County Department of Economic Development.<\p>
BeltLine to begin transforming key intersection
Atlanta BeltLine Inc. will soon safeguard a well-traveled intersection for pedestrians and cyclists crossing between Monroe Drive and the Eastside Trail.<\p> Next month, ABI plans to start construction on an overhaul to Monroe Drive at its intersection with Kanuga Street, 10th Street and an entrance to the Eastside Trail. The nonprofit provided the update during a Wednesday meeting.<\p>
Norfolk Southern agrees to $378M deal to end investigations
Norfolk Southern Corp. will pay nearly $400 million to end a federal investigation into its Ohio derailment.<\p> The Atlanta-based railroad (NYSE: NSC) announced May 23 it reached an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Department of the Interior to resolve all their claims and investigations related to last year's derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.<\p>
