Last week Atlanta won 60-17 over Mount Vernon and White Oak beat Queen City 35-34 in OT.

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

    Linden-Kildare vs. Celeste

Linden-Kildare hosts Celeste this Friday evening at Jack Hetherington-Tiger Stadium. The two teams have never met before this season when the UIL moved Celeste into the Tigers’ district. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.

Queen City hosts Hooks this Friday night as the Bulldogs open its district schedule against the Hornets. History in the series hasn’t been kind to the Bulldogs as Hooks leads the set 30-4. QC’s last win over the Hornets was in 2013 and coming into this meeting Hooks has won six straight versus the Bulldogs. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.
