    Service of Prayer for Our Nation: A Call to Unite and Protect Democracy

    Today on The Rashad Richey Morning Show , Conflict Prevention Advisor for the Carter Center Tom Crick joined the program to discuss an important event taking place tomorrow. Faith Forward Democracy is hosting an event at the Carter Center tomorrow titled "A Service of Prayer for Our Nation." The event aims to bring together a multi-faith, nonpartisan network of faith leaders, laity, congregational members, and ministry leaders to pray for our nation and strengthen trust in our election processes.

    Faith Forward Democracy is a nonpartisan network of faith leaders from various backgrounds who are united in their concern for societal divisions and their impact on democracy. Mr. Crick emphasized the importance of building trust and promoting civility to protect democratic processes. Through intentional outreach and relationship-building within faith communities, Faith for Democracy aims to inspire individuals to take action in bridging divides and strengthening communities based on common values such as love for one another and being peacemakers.

    The upcoming event, titled "A Service of Prayer for Our Nation," will take place at the Carter Center tomorrow from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. The event, emceed by Dr. Rashad Richey, will feature a diverse group of faith leaders, including bishops, pastors, and more. It is open to all individuals who wish to attend and is free of charge. The event will provide a platform for attendees to come together, pray for the nation, and reaffirm their commitment to unity and peace.
