The team behind several Atlanta restaurants is expanding its portfolio in another hospitality sector: hotels.

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group will manage Rivet House , set to open this spring in Athens, and an upcoming hotel in Roswell called The Chambray , Atlanta Business Chronicle reports .

Rivet House is slated to be a 55-key luxury boutique hotel just two minutes from downtown Athens, at the Southern Mill mixed-use project. A February 2024 job posting seeking a general manager for Rivet House said the hotel would include “an upscale Italian restaurant and bar, a coffee bar and retail shop, and a 2800 square foot health and beauty spa.”

According to The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, The Chambray will have more than 100 guest rooms, a new culinary concept on the ground floor, private dining and event spaces and a rooftop terrace.

The Chambray will be located at Southern Post, a new development in Roswell. The hotel could begin construction later in 2024, Atlanta Business Chronicle reports. Several food-and-beverage tenants have been announced for Southern Post, including Da Vinci’s Donuts , Belux Coffee Roasters and Azotea Cantina .

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group already operates Bridge Creek Inn , which opened in Clayton in December, as well as two hotels in North Carolina.

Steve Palmer founded The Indigo Road Hospitality Group in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2009. The company’s metro Atlanta portfolio includes Indaco , Sukoshi , Colletta , Oak Steakhouse and O-Ku .

It was reported last fall that Palmer is also set to transform the historic H.M. Patterson Home and Gardens at Spring Quarter into a dining destination. Spring Quarter is a mixed-use development in Midtown expected to be complete this year.
