In a final interview that wrapped up Black History Month, esteemed veteran Enterprise reporter from the Atlanta Journal Constitution Ernie Suggs joined The Rashad Richey Morning Show to delve into the impactful narratives that were featured throughout the month. With a career spanning over two decades, Mr. Suggs brought a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the discussion of black culture in Atlanta and beyond.

Reflecting on the series of articles and stories shared during Black History Month, Mr. Suggs highlighted some of the most compelling narratives that resonated with the audience. From the captivating story of Sue Ross , a community photographer capturing black life with passion and authenticity, to the courageous tale of Hubbard Pryor , an escaped slave who fought for freedom, each story shed light on the resilience, bravery, and creativity of the black community.

A standout feature of this year's Black History Month series was the exploration of homegoing services within the black community, with a focus on funeral director Willie Watkins . Through striking black-and-white photographs, the series captured the unique way in which black people honor and celebrate the lives of their loved ones, transforming moments of grief into beautiful tributes.

The series also celebrated the musical legends of Georgia, including James Brown, Ray Charles, Otis Redding, and Little Richard , who overcame adversity to achieve international stardom. Their stories underscore the significant impact that black musicians have had on the music industry and the world, paving the way for future generations of artists to follow.
