Flavorful, Cajun-style seafood will on the menu at Halidom Eatery when Deallo’s Seafood opens at the food hall this spring.

The menu from Chef Deallo Frazier will include lobster mac and cheese, three kinds of lobster rolls, shrimp and grits, loaded seafood nachos, a shrimp burger, and an entree of blackened salmon with rice.

This is Frazier’s first time opening his own restaurant, but he has nearly 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry.

Frazier, who was in the military and also graduated from the Art Institute of Atlanta for culinary management and culinary arts, said he’s most excited to have his own concept and see people enjoying the cuisines he’s created.

“It’s overall an exciting experience,” he told What Now Atlanta .

Located on Moreland Avenue, the art deco-inspired Halidom Eatery is slated to open this spring. It will include indoor seating for 320 guests, outdoor seating for 123 guests and an upscale bar. There will also be a private event space and a two-acre outdoor green space.

The food hall is the inaugural phase of a mixed-use development, Halidom. Residential and retail spaces are also envisioned for the site. It is located south of East Atlanta Village.

IST Management Services President and CEO Hal Blackman spoke with What Now Atlanta last fall about the vision for Halidom Eatery.

“I wanted to develop something that was special, that was based on bringing something to the community that was different, something that was peaceful, a place for people to get along,” Blackman said at the time.

Deallo’s Seafood is part of the final round of tenant announcements for the food hall, which also includes Luca’s Brooklyn Pizzeria , Just Dogs ATL , Grind Time Coffee Co. , Wasabi Sushi & Ramen and Buena Papa Fry Bar .

The concepts join the previously announced tenants, including Press Waffle Co. , Mad Dads Philly’s , Mango Indian Grill , Locale Island Eats and Luze Mexicano Cocina .
