Buckhead Landing continues to grow its tenant roster, with Aviva by Kameel joining the lineup of restaurants coming to the shopping center.

This will be the third Atlanta location of the fast-casual concept, which can also be found in Downtown Atlanta (225 Peachtree St NE) and in Midtown at the CODA food hall (756 W Peachtree St NW). The eatery serves healthy and modern Mediterranean plates, wraps and salads. They also offer catering services.

Chef and restaurateur Kameel Srouji first opened Aviva by Kameel in 2012. With the help of his son, Nas Srouji , they opened the Midtown location in 2020. The restaurant prides itself on using premium ingredients (including halal meats and organic olive oil) and authentic family recipes.

“This is the way my family has cooked for generations, and the principles my dad has used throughout his career as well,” Nas told What Now Atlanta.

Nas dove into the family business, which ties into his own healthy-living values, after graduating from the University of Georgia. He said the proximity to so many residential communities and corporate and coworking buildings in Buckhead (including Atlanta Tech Village across the street) makes it a great location for the concept’s next outpost.

“My dad and I have been looking for a third location for most of 2023. Nothing really felt right until that location,” he said.

The new location will also provide greater accessibility for Aviva by Kameel fans who live further north and travel to the Downtown and Midtown restaurants.

“We’re super pumped,” Nas said. “It’s all because of the guests. We pour our heart and soul into our business. The restaurant business is not easy. We’re humbled by the support we’ve got. Our guests are the best in town. They’re like an old friend.”

The restaurant will be situated in a 2,500-square-foot space in between Italian restaurant Piu Bello and Waxing the City, according to a site map.

Buckhead Landing is a shopping center undergoing redevelopment by Regency Centers . The complex will be anchored by a 55,000-square-foot Publix expected to open later this year.

New dining options coming to Buckhead Landing also include the first Atlanta location of Burtons Grill & Bar . Children’s apparel brand Carters Inc. , interactive golf retailer Golf Galaxy , and an Alloy fitness studio are also set to join the complex.

“We have been developing a balanced mix of national and locally owned Atlanta businesses, as well as first-to-market concepts that meet the demands of today’s Buckhead consumer,” Regency Centers Vice President and Market Officer Nate Smith said in a statement.
