Atlantic Station is shifting into gear with a new parking operator.

The Car Park , a parking management company based in Boise, Idaho, will manage the destination’s expansive parking facilities and transportation services, including the district’s three-level parking deck with 6,000 spaces, more than 200 metered parking spaces and shuttle services around the neighborhood as well as to and from MARTA.

The long-term partnership between The Car Park and Atlantic Station is effective May 2024. Atlantic Station previously had a 20-year contract with REEF/Lanier Parking.

The Car Park was founded in 2003 and now operates in 19 states, 37 markets and more than 500 locations. The company provides parking management and enforcement services, event management, license plate recognition, wayfinding, cloud permits, hybrid parker programs and more. The Car Park manages parking operations for NC State, University of North Carolina, Water Street Tampa and other properties.

“We are experts at meeting the unique needs of the markets we serve, and our partnership with Atlantic Station is no exception,” The Car Park CEO Jeff Wolfe said in a news release. “The neighborhood’s commitment to exceptional guest experiences aligns perfectly with our values, and we are eager to embark on this journey as Atlantic Station becomes our first operation in Atlanta.”

Atlantic Station is a 138-acre neighborhood located in Midtown known for having its own zip code and featuring nearly 8 million square feet of mixed-use development.
