1.2 Million-Square-Foot Data Center Proposed for Fairburn

A large data center has been proposed for Fairburn.

The facility would include 1,190,000 square feet of data center space across three buildings on approximately 60 acres, according to a Development of Regional Impact (DRI) filing.

The project referred to in the filing as Fairburn Technology Center would be located at 8125 Bohannon Drive.

The developer is listed as Bohannon Road Venture, LLC , which was created in November 2023, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office. The group is a subsidiary of Strategic Real Estate Partners , an Atlanta-based industrial real estate development company that was established in 2019.

According to the DRI filing, the Fairburn Technology Center project is expected to be complete in 2028.

Fairburn is southwest of Atlanta.
