With the 2024 NBA Draft getting underway Wednesday evening, speculation is rampant about what the Atlanta Hawks will do with the #1 overall pick. Frenchman Alexander Sarr was the early favorite, but after Hawks General Manager Landry Fields said Tuesday that Sarr cancelled a scheduled workout with the team, it may not be that easy to assume Sarr will be the pick.

The other two players being talked about in this conversation are fellow Frenchman Forward Zach Risacher and Center Donavan Clingan out of UConn. The "experts" say that both Sarr and Clingan would be "projects", or would need a few years to develop. With the Hawks brass saying that they wanting to win now, that may put Risacher in the driver's seat as the #1 overall pick. Atlanta Hawks broadcaster Mike Conti joins Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael to discuss the mystery that will surround the #1 overall pick until Wednesday evening.
