    Red, White & Boom!
    When: July 3
    Where: Lillian Webb Park, Norcross
    Cost: Free
    Details: Norcross will host their annual Fourth of July celebration a day in advance, with food, music, fireworks, and face painting. Bring picnic blankets and lawn chairs to watch the show with your family and friends. Make sure to read up on parking and road closures in advance to catch the best view.

    Stone Mountain Fantastic Fourth Celebration
    When: July 1-7
    Where: Stone Mountain Park
    Cost: $5-$35 light show tickets, $20 parking, and additional paid attractions
    Details: Stone Mountain has an entire week of Fourth of July festivities, including a “Music Across America” drone and light show full of flame cannons, lasers, and fireworks every night. While you’re waiting for the show to start, you can enjoy attractions including a Summit Skyride, 4D Theater, and Dinotorium. Also take advantage of their “Summer at the Rock” series, including a Water Works Show, a Deep Sea Glow Cove, and Puppy Pals Show. Make sure to get to the park before 5 p.m., as spots fill up quickly and gates will close once capacity is reached.

    AJC Peachtree Road Race
    When: July 4
    Where: Lenox Square
    Cost: Free to spectate
    Details: The world’s largest 10k, now in its 55th year, is perhaps Atlanta’s most beloved July 4 tradition. The coveted race bibs have been sold out for months, but the event is as fun to spectate as it is to participate. The race starts Lenox Square Mall and ends at Piedmont Park, with folks lining up at various points all along Peachtree to see the runners cross and offer high-fives.

    Fourth of July on the Roof at Ponce City Market
    When: July 4
    Where: The Roof at Ponce City Market
    Cost: $7-$15 for general admission, $22-$30 for all-access gameplay
    Details: Take in a panoramic view of the city, fireworks and all, with the Roof’s annual Fourth of July Celebration. Tickets include boardwalk access and games at Skyline Park for the whole family. Stay late for dinner at the 9 Mile Station restaurant, or sip on frozen cocktails at their tropical Summer Beach Bar pop-up.

    Pied Piper Parade and Fireworks
    When: July 4
    Where: Downtown Decatur
    Cost: Free
    Details: Dress up in your favorite red, white, and blue outfit and join the Pied Piper Parade by foot, bicycle, or float! The parade starts at 5:30 with prizes for the best decorated floats, followed by a musical performance by The MetroGnomes. Afterwards, make sure to grab a seat on the lawn for the city’s fireworks display.

    4th in the Park
    When: July 4
    Where: Downtown Marietta
    Cost: Free
    Details: Marietta’s Fourth of July starts early with their Let Freedom Ring Parade starting at Roswell Street Baptist Church and ending with a festival featuring arts and crafts, food, and music for all ages. Afterward, the city hosts performances from Scott Thompson, the Atlanta Concert Band, TULANI, and Savannah Jack. Round off the night with a fireworks finale after the concert.

    Stars & Stripes at City Springs
    When: July 4
    Where: City Springs, Sandy Springs
    Cost: Free
    Details: Celebrate the Fourth at Sandy Springs with fireworks and a live musical performance by A-Town A-List. Bring your own lawn chairs and picnic food or eat at one of the many food trucks at the venue including Dogs on Wheels, Gyro Chef, Hapa Kitchen, and more. Make sure not to arrive too early, as set-up before 4 p.m. is prohibited.

    Peach State Block Party
    When: July 4
    Where: Underground Atlanta
    Cost: $20+
    Details: Enjoy live music, food, and lawn games with Underground Atlanta’s Block Party, followed a huge fireworks display. There’s free food until 4 p.m. (or until it runs out) with a ticket purchase, so arrive early for lunch.

    Chamblee Summer Concert and Fireworks Show
    When: July 4
    Where: Chamblee City Hall
    Cost: Free
    Details: The City of Chamblee’s three-month Summer Concert Series coincides with the Fourth of July for a dynamic concert and fireworks afterward. This year, the event features The Ansley Stewart Band and The Platinum Band. You can bring your own food and drinks, or purchase from one of the many food trucks at the location.

    Atlanta Braves Fourth of July Game
    When: July 4
    Where: Truist Park
    Cost: $20+
    Details: Show out for the Atlanta Braves for the last of their three-game series against the San Francisco Giants. The Battery’s pavilion will feature a special performance by up-and-coming country artists for the holiday, as well as a special fireworks show at Truist Park.
