Tucker Celebration of Independence The City of Tucker is getting an early jump on the festivities with its July 3 event on Main Street, featuring live music, food trucks, a kids zone, and big fireworks display. The fun begins at 6 p.m. See the map here .
Peachtree Road Race The 55th running of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution Peachtree Road Race begins at 7:30 a.m. at Lenox Square and concludes at Piedmont Park. See all the details and route entertainment here .
Dunwoody 4th of July Parade Rough Draft has partnered with the Dunwoody Homeowners Association to present the 2024 4th of July Parade. The parade, which has the theme “Red, White & YOU,” is the largest in the state. See our full guide to the parade here .
Druid Hills 4th of July Parade A neighborhood tradition since 1976, the annual parade will kick off at 11 a.m. at the corner of Oakdale and The Byway. March along with a local fire truck, local Boy Scout Troop, police escort, and the neighborhood marching band. Come early at 10:15 a.m. to the children’s bike, wagon and stroller decorating event with July 4th supplies provided by local organizations and the Druid Hills Civic Association. Peach State Block Party Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Peach State Block Party at Underground Atlanta starting at 2 p.m. There will be live music, food trucks, and fun for all ages. The event also hosts a huge fireworks display to close out the event. Get more details here .
Chamblee 4th of July Concert & Fireworks Chamblee will celebrate Independence Day on the lawn of City Hall, 3518 Broad St., starting at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy live music from The Platinum Band, food and beverage vendors, and a kids zone with inflatables and games. Fireworks will begin around 9:30 p.m. A shuttle will operate between Chamblee Middle School and City Hall from 5:30-11 p.m., or use an Uber rideshare code . Broad Street, Ingersoll Rand Drive, and Irvindale Way will be closed.
Sandy Springs Stars & Stripes Fireworks Celebration Sandy Springs Stars and Stripes Fireworks Celebration starts at 4 p.m. at City Springs. Food trucks will begin serving at 6 p.m. The band A-Town A-List will play at 7:30 p.m., followed by fireworks at 9:30 p.m. For information about ride shares, parking, road closures, viewing areas, and more, click here .
City of Decatur Head downtown to join the Pied Piper Parade where everyone can ride bikes, walk or skate in this community event. There are concerts before and after the 6 p.m. parade, as well as fireworks at dark. The parade starts at First Baptist Church of Decatur, 308 Clairemont Ave., and ends at Decatur Square. Block Party at the Krog District On July 4, the Krog District and BrewDog will play host to a live DJ, live band, interactive games, vendor market, bounce house, and more from noon to 7 p.m. Free to attend. More information is available here.
