The Atlanta Hawks had the potential to have a franchise-defining offseason, but it's been a bit underwhelming after the package received in return for Dejounte Murray wasn't as significant as many fans had hoped. With there seemingly not being many more moves to be made, unless there's a shocker, how does this offseason set the Hawks up moving forward?

The Hawks have made it clear with the addition of Dyson Daniels and the selection of Zaccharie Risacher that the organization is going to prioritize defense on the perimeter to help out the offense that Trae Young provides.

Part of the plan would certainly require Jalen Johnson to take the next step, but this is still a relatively young team. Even Young is just 25 years old, and if the front office is comfortable letting things slowly build as opposed to seeing a quick turnaround, that might be their only realistic path to competing.
