Do Braves have the front-three in its rotation to have playoff success?

The Atlanta Braves are streaking, having won their fourth-consecutive game over a potential playoff team. These four games were marked by a resurgent effort at the plate, but also by its steadfast dominance on the mound.

That consistency gives The Steakhouse confidence that this group will help bring postseason success back to Atlanta.

Chris Sale, who put out another strong showing last night in the Braves' 6-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks, lifted his season totals to a Major League-leading 12-3 record matched by a 2.74 ERA and 136 strikeouts. Last night's outing in Arizona also put Sale at 105.0 innings pitched on the season, and officially the most he has thrown in a single season since 2019.

"Chris Sale is having a season that is simply spectacular," Steak Shapiro said about Sale on Wednesday morning. "And I guarantee you if you are Dave Roberts of the Dodgers or anybody else in baseball and you're thinking about the postseason, or you're the Phillies or anybody else. The reality is that the Atlanta Braves, if Brian Snitker can keep it together over the next couple of months, [you have] Reynaldo Lopez, who was nowhere for the last five years in baseball; Chris Sale, who's career looked like it was hanging in the balance; and Max Fried.

"That combination, and our bullpen, have been lights out."

The bullpen, in particular, has been one of the very best in Major League Baseball this season. According to Covers.com , the Braves have the best relief pitcher ERA in the National League (2.88), clearing the second-best total by the Dodgers by 45 points.

Matched by a near lights-out frontline of the rotation, and the Braves have a team that will be feared come October.

"[The Braves have] three guys that you can go into a series with that, right now, give us a great opportunity to win every game," Rusty said in agreeance with Steak. "We're talking about playoffs."
