Golf Galaxy tees up to celebrate new store opening in Buckhead

Golf Galaxy is teed up to celebrate the grand opening this weekend of its new store in Buckhead.

The interactive golf store plans a ribbon cutting on Friday, July 19, at 8:45 a.m. at its new location in the Buckhead Landing shopping center at 3330 Piedmont Road. Grand opening weekend hours will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, July 20, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, July 21, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Golf Galaxy first opened in 1997. The interactive golf retailer owned and operated by Dick’s Sporting Goods sells clubs, balls, apparel and footwear. The stores include golf course simulators and indoor driving ranges and putting greens.

There are roughly 100 Golf Galaxy stores across the county, including one at Cumberland Mall in Cobb County.

Golf Galaxy is the newest tenant at the Buckhead Landing shopping center owned by Regency Centers. The shopping center was once home to “Disco Kroger ” before Regency closed it in 2022. A Publix store is being built on the site and is expected to open later this year.

Other tenants at Buckhead Landing include sushi restaurant Omakase Table , Carter’s, a restaurant called Aviva by Kameel, Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream, skin and body care shop SkinSpirit, fitness studio Alloy, waxing center Waxing the City, and Boston-based Burtons Grill & Bar.

Many of the shopping center’s local favorites continue to serve the Buckhead community, including Piu Bello, Urban Wu, Eye Gallery, Relax the Back, The Joint, Buckhead Alterations, Jamison Shaw, Lush Nails & Spa, Coast Dental, and Starbucks.
