Luxury Brand Brochu Walker Coming to Buckhead Village

A brand cultivating “luxury to live in” is expanding to Atlanta, with Brochu Walker coming soon to Buckhead Village.

The brand offers apparel, fine jewelry and accessories with a focus on timelessness.

That timelessness and the elegant and neutral aesthetic of the pieces is what really resonates with owner and creative director Karine Dubner .

“When I purchase something, I like to keep it a long time,” Dubner told What Now Atlanta . “I like to be relevant, but I don’t want to feel like something is just trendy and you need to get to the next piece.”

The store’s exterior will have the brand’s signature pastel pink awning, with feminine and sleek architectural elements throughout the store. New York-based design firm Paul Bennett Architects helped bring the store to life.

“There’s a sense of calmness but also beauty in terms of texture and colors,” Dubner said of what customers can expect when they visit the space.

Both consumer insights and a major city feel are what drew the brand to Atlanta, which will be the largest city that Brochu Walker is currently in. The Buckhead outpost will be the fourth retail location for the brand, which has stores in Southampton, New York; Westport, Connecticut; and Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.

“There’s a lot of things I do with my gut. I look at the data obviously, but Atlanta is one of our top five markets, so there was a good reason to open a store,” Dubner said.

The presence of Southern hospitality doesn’t hurt either.

“I’ve been going to Atlanta as we prepare the store and everybody has been so nice,” she said. “People in the South are really nice. They take the time to stop and tell you how much they love the brand. It’s very refreshing. We spent a lot of time on getting the right team because I want to create a sense of community and make sure we offer the good customer service that is expected.”

Brochu Walker is set to open in Buckhead on Aug. 9, 2024. The store will be open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
