Visiting antique shops and vintage markets is an easy way to dip your toes into the world of antiquing, especially when even the most unassuming shops can secretly hold rare finds for the discerning buyer. But for the experienced collector, there's another level of antiquing experience, one where nearly everything is curated to be a rare luxury find.

One such high-end (yet free!) experience is the Marburger Farms Antique Show, which has solely operated out of Round Top, Texas, since beginning in 1997 - that is, until now. This weekend, for the first time ever, the Marburger Farms Antique Show has opened in Atlanta, and its world-class collection is one that serious antiquers won't want to miss!

This exciting news comes to us from Atlanta travel guide @atllovesmo , who was there on opening day. The Marburger Farms Antique Show has been open since the 17th, but it's running all the way through today and tomorrow, so the weekend shoppers of Atlanta still have plenty of opportunity! There's no entry fee, either - you only pay for what you buy!

A little background on all of this, in case the name "Marburger Farms" doesn't mean anything to you. As outlined on their website, the show was originally started in 1997 by two expert antique dealers , who sold their collection out of a booth in - where else - Marburger Farms in Round Top, Texas. Over the years, the twice-annual antique show has expanded to include over 300 dealers selling their meticulously-curated wares.

Marburger boasts a collection of extraordinary finds sourced from all over the world, encompassing just about every vintage style movement you can imagine, from mid-century modern to Americana to Art Deco , styles representative of various world cultures, and much more. Everything in their collection is guaranteed to be of high quality; they have no "tired merchandise and reproductions."

The Marburger Farms Collection boasts a vast array of one-of-a-kind furniture, art, decor, clothing, jewelry, collectibles, and much more. Though their flagship Atlanta show only has around 60 dealers, as opposed to Round Top's several hundred, there's more than enough for antique collectors to marvel over. If you want to get a feel for things before you go, the Atlanta dealer list is posted online.

The show is being held at the Southern Exchange at 155 Carnegie Way NW in downtown Atlanta, Georgia . Today and tomorrow, it'll be open from 10 am to 6 pm. If this is too short notice for you, though, don't worry. Their website indicates that another Atlanta antique show is being planned for January 2025, though the exact dates aren't up yet. Whether you head there this weekend or wait for a winter visit, you're guaranteed to find some truly unique vintage treasures!
