The authorities also revealed that the rapper died in the initial shootout that took place between the groups.

Almost a week later, a Chicago Sun-Times report claimed that King Von belonged to the O Block faction of Black Disciples . Formed in 1966, Black Disciples nabbed attention for doing illegal activities like drug selling and gambling.
