Is it stock up or stock down for these Falcons players?

The Atlanta Falcons have officially reported for Training Camp as the preparations for the 2024 NFL season are under way across the league. To celebrate the first day, The Steakhouse played a game called "Stock Up, Stock Down."

    Jake Matthews, Left Tackle
"I would say stock up," Rusty Mansell said. "He's just consistent."

Shapiro compared the Falcons' left tackle to investing in the S&P 500, "You're not going to get crushed [and] you know what you're going to get."

However, the stock isn't going to age like Apple stock. He's been solid throughout his career, but a regression is imminent.

    Troy Andersen, Linebacker
"I would say stock down," Mansell said. "You're a second-rounder, man, people should know you by now. It doesn't mean he can't turn it around... I'm not ready to close the book on him."

Producer Da Da is concerned about the injuries that Andersen has had to endure, forcing him to miss the majority of the 2023 season, "It's a tough one because he spent all that time on the injured list," he said. "What do they call it when the stock doesn't move?"

    Lorenzo Carter, Outside Linebacker
"Stock up," Mansell said confidently. "You can't bring what Lorenzo Carter does to the locker room. This is a veteran, this a guy that bleeds red and black at Georgia and the Falcons."

"I just want him to sack quarterbacks," Steak replied.

    Younghoe Koo, Kicker
"I hope it's stock down because I don't want to see him a lot!" Mansell said, jokingly. "I want to score touchdowns! I don't want to be talking about my kicker. I want to be talking about how we've got $100 million in Kirk Cousins."

    Grady Jarrett, Defensive Tackle
"Stock up," Rusty said. "He's ready. I'm telling you, I've watched Nick Chubb do this [after a knee injury, too]... I know these dudes. I've covered Grady Jarrett since 2009. That's why he's different."

    Steak disagreed with this thought.

"Stock is down," he said. "He's not as good as he was three or four years ago. These guys [Producer Da Da and Rusty Mansell] are scared to say it. I love Grady Jarrett, and he'll be in the Ring of Honor and have all the accolades in the world, [but it's stock down]."
