But, don't fret. Several Atlanta hotels have options where you can purchase a day pass and lounge around for a few hours.

Here's a sampling of some places where you can "drop in" and enjoy the pool for a few hours:

Hotel W Atlanta Downtown : The relaxation pass ($50 for adults and $25 for children) for the rooftop outdoor pool is available to use from noon to 8pm. Massage and spa options are also available.

Omni Hotel at The Battery Atlanta : Day passes are $30 per child and $75 for adults; evening passes are $50 per adult and $25 for children. You can also drop $500 to rent a cabana for up to six adults.

Moxi Atlanta Midtown : Day pass is $45 per adult; cabana rentals are $180 for up to four adults.

InterContinental Atlanta Buckhead : Day passes are $45 per adult, $20 per child and free for babies.
