The Atlanta Falcons have signed the 2022 Canadian Football League’s Most Outstanding Canadian Rourke to a 1-year, $915,000 deal to compete with QB Taylor Heinicke for QB3. University of Illinois rookie UDFA QB John Paddock was released today in a corresponding move.

The 26-year-old Rourke’s resume doesn’t bear much of a lapse in work, having been let go by the New York Giants Sunday and employed by Atlanta on Thursday.
