YSL Co-Founder YSL Mondo Says Gunna ‘Technically Didn’t Rat’ After Dissing YSL Woody For Allegedly Snitching On Young Thug And Others, Claims Atlanta ‘Glorifies Snitches’

Yikes! YSL Mondo , who co-founded the music collective YSL with Atlanta rapper Young Thug , says Gunna “technically didn’t rat” on anyone in the group’s RICO case after dissing YSL Woody for allegedly doing the snitching. On Saturday (August 3), YSL Mondo, born Fremondo Crenshaw took to his Instagram page to call out YSL Woody, born Kenneth Copeland, and V-103 radio host Lil Bankhead , real name Jerrone Strickland.

That evening, YSL Woody was invited to the V-103 station studio to go live with Lil Bankhead and premiere new music. YSL co-founder YSL Mondo reposted a screenshot of the two in the studio with text from another person that read, “ATLANTA IS DISGUSTING!! This is DISGUSTING!!! Y’all are really glorifying a F***IN SNITCHHHHHH. That played with people’s livelihoods!! The reason why ifs [are] in jail, facing what!!!!! I just can’t believe this sh*t. Y’all got him on the radio! V103 is DISGUSTING!”

Reacting to the post, Mondo added, “I don’t respect Bankhead no more. Done turned into a clout chaser. It’s not about loyalty, respect, and morals no more. Everybody in it for the money. Atlanta [is] ruined.” In a second post, Mondo shared a lengthy message that read, “My brother literally fighting for his life ‘cause of buddy talking to the s and y’all got this bogus a** n***a doing interviews, 20v1, all on the radio station…”

YSL Mondo continued to slam YSL Woody for allegedly snitching on Young Thug, stating, “What happened to the codes and morals we suppose to live by… Then y’all the same mf’s d**k riding Slime, saying free him… But y’all glorifying the n***a who got him in there.. Atlanta getting weirder everyday….. It’s about money and clout… People don’t care if you a rat, f***ot, child molester, whatever… Long as you got clout and money they praising you….”

In a third lengthy post, YSL Mondo continued, “I’m man enough to say I should’ve never spoke about the Gunna situation ‘cause technically he didn’t rat, he just kinda folded under pressure and should’ve just stayed down with his mans ’til everything was over ‘cause all the originals know he ain’t did nothing, wasn’t even around from the beginning so he wasn’t gon’ do no real time.”

He continued, “Regardless, I feel bad cause now a n***a who literally is a real live rat running round the city getting glorified and smiling like he ain’t just send multiple n***as to jail. I was so mad and hurt at the same time that my brother going through this sh*t after he turned a lot of n***as up who should’ve never been allowed in our circle. He can’t speak up so I felt I’m the only one who can and should be speaking up. That’s the only reason I start talking about Gunna but I’m a real n***a in real life. Ain’t no mystery in my history. I’m not afraid to say when I was wrong and saying Gunna is a rat was dead a** wrong but I can’t take nothing back. I just got to stand on what I said and take whatever come with it.”

In a fourth lengthy post, YSL co-founder YSL Mondo added, “No funny sh8t I’m glad Gunna out here putting the brand/label on his back. It was a good thing he took a plea ‘cause at the end of the day he never took the stand and testified. He did what made sense for him which turned out good ‘cause bro out here putting up numbers musically… He got to keep the label going while twin gone ‘cause these major labels scared to let me in the door.”

Mondo continued, “I been blackballed damn near… I also have to blame myself for being too heavy in the streets… They scared to give me a chance ‘cause they think it’s a bad investment… They think I might die or go to jail ‘cause I was in the street fr in real life. They know I’m not one of these cap a** rap n***as who ain’t living like that in real life… That’s why rappers get killed after they get signed ‘cause they let the money trick them into thinking they gangsters…”

Reacting to being called out and accused of snitching on Young Thug, a user hopped in YSL Woody’s comments and said, “Mondo doesn’t f**k with you.” He replied, “Who is that?”
