RASA holds its annual health fair in Shreveport
SHREVEPORT, La. - RASA held its “Feria de Salud” (health fair) for the second year in a row Sunday at the Highland Center in Shreveport. With the goal of improving the quality of life in the community, the RASA declares July as “Hispanic Health Month”, a sustained community campaign that follows their mission to raise the quality of life for Latinos in the northwest parishes of Louisiana.
Fan drive helps seniors during rising summer temps

2 juveniles robbed, carjacked by 3 men in MLK neighborhood
SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Early Sunday morning (July 14), two juveniles were robbed and carjacked by three men. At 1:30 a.m., the Shreveport Police Department responded to a carjacking in the 3000 block of Downing Court in the city’s Martin Luther King Jr. neighborhood. When officers arrived, they made contact with the mother of the juvenile driver, who informed police that two juveniles were carjacked.
