Bienville Parish man who evaded sentencing for 3 decades denied new trial
HOMER, La. — A Ringgold man convicted of felony crimes in 1991 has been denied a new trial after evading the law and sentencing for 32 years. Greg Max Lawson, 64, was shuffled into the Claiborne Parish courtroom Monday in handcuffs, shackles and a striped jail jumpsuit.
