There is a sign from a local Waffle House that has been making its way around social media today and it's left many fans of the 24-hour restaurant scratching their heads. The sign basically says that on Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays, from 11:30 pm to 6:00 am, you won't be able to dine in at Waffle House restaurants, and you'll only be able to pick up to-go orders.

Grambling Sports Legends Hall of Fame inducting class of 2024
MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Grambling State University is inducting a new class of former tiger greats into the Sports Legends Hall of Fame. 11 individuals have been chosen from varying sports. Representing football are Glynn Alexander, Aldrich Allen, Scotty Anderson, and Herman Arvie. Elsie Dillard and Napoleon Johnson are the basketball honorees, while Michael Cummings and Robert Williams represent baseball. Track and field nominees include Ainsley Armstrong and Gail Emmanuel. Additionally, former Band Director Larry Pannell will be recognized for his work with the Grambling marching band.
Two Alexandria men arrested in connection to Overton Street homicide
Two Alexandria men have been arrested on second-degree murder charges in connection to a June 18 homicide on Overton Street, according to police. Brandon Jahiem Whipple, 21, and Robert Earl Swafford, 19, both remain in the Rapides Parish Detention Center No. 1 after their arrests. Bail for each was set at $1 million, according to online jail records.
