First look: Louisiana-inspired piano bar Bayou Keys to open in downtown Nashville
A new piano bar with Louisiana flair opens of Lower Broadway this week. TC Restaurant Group, the hospitality company behind a number of downtown country star bars, announced Monday that its newest concept Bayou Keys will open on Thursday. The bar neighbors "Heart Like A Truck" singer Lainey Wilson's Bell Bottoms Up, which made its debut back in May, and both take inspiration from Wilson's home state.

LSU RB Trey Holly Expected to rejoin team for 2024 season after court drops attempted murder charge
LSU running back Trey Holly is expected to rejoin the team and be available for the 2024 season, ESPN Baton Rouge's Matt Moscana reported Monday. The program suspended Holly earlier in the offseason after he was charged with attempted second-degree murder in connection to the Union Parish shooting on Feb. 9. A grand jury dropped the charges in April.

$72,000 raised for Fordyce mass shooting victims
Dallas County authorities said over $72,000 has been raised for the victims of the deadly Fordyce mass shooting. The donations were raised through an account at Fordyce Bank and Trust and will be evenly distributed between the victims of the shooting through the Victims First organization through their partnership with the Arkansas Community Foundation.

Toby is a Very Special Dog That Has a Love for Firetrucks. Ryan and Nicole Hurd rescued Toby. The Hurds said Toby and his littermates were abandoned in a ditch in Shreveport 13 years ago and luckily all the pups were adopted by loving families. Toby has always been obsessed with sirens for a long time his owners say that Toby runs out every time he hears a siren and he howls along with sirens. Toby was recently diagnosed with cancer and the Hurds were told there isn't much they can do for Toby besides keep him comfortable.
