It’s sometimes said that great pain leads to beautiful art, and Alex “Leon” Young has been through it. “From 2005 to 2007, I was pallbearer about 14 times for my best friends one after the other and then three of my brothers. Two of them shot themselves and the youngest got cancer,” Young said. “It was someone who looked pretty much just like me turn into a skeletor in three months. Diagnosed in February, died in May. Before my son was born, I’d trade about anything to get my youngest brother back. My religion died a little bit when he died.”
