    Pete Davidson and Kevin Hart bring the laughs to Atlantic City, plus more ‘Shore Things’ happening this weekend

    PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It’ll be a weekend of laughs in Atlantic City, with two big-time comedians performing on back-to-back nights. First up is “Saturday Night Live” alum Pete Davidson at Ocean Casino Resort. Then on Sunday, Philly native Kevin Hart will perform at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. On Saturday, Ocean City’s Night in Venice, a nearly 70-year-old tradition, will kick off. This year’s boat parade theme is a tribute to Jimmy Buffett. Then, hit the beach in Cape May for full moon yoga in the sand behind Convention Hall.

    Prepare to laugh

    First up in Atlantic City: Pete Davidson . The comedian will perform his “Prehab Tour” at Ocean Casino Resort on Saturday at 8 p.m. Then on Sunday at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, comedian and entrepreneur Kevin Hart will take the stage at 7 p.m. for his “Acting My Age Tour.”

    A Night in Venice

    Ocean City’s 69th Night in Venice will be held on Saturday with the annual boat parade and a tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett.

    Family day at the beach

    Head to Eighth Avenue Beach in Asbury Park on Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. for some family fun. The free event features plenty of activities for kids, including surf lessons, beach games, live music, volleyball, food and more.

    Totally Tubular Festival

    Also at the Hard Rock in Atlantic City, the Totally Tubular Festival lets guests immerse themselves in a “nostalgic time capsule” of the ’80s. The lineup features Thomas Dolby, Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins, Modern English, Men Without Hats, Bow Wow Wow, Tommy Tutone, and Eddie Munoz of The Plimsouls.

    Movies on the beach

    At Seaside Heights Beach on Sunday night, find a comfy spot on the sand and watch a showing of “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts.” Movies are shown for free each week.

    Beach yoga under the moonlight

    End your weekend with a relaxing yoga session on the beach in Cape May. Monday’s evening event coincides with a full moon!
