Memphis Teen Hospitalized Following Police Shooting, Investigation Underway as Juveniles Detained
Memphis Police Department officers were involved in a pursuit Friday that ended with a 14-year-old being shot and hospitalized, and two juvenile suspects taken into custody. The Memphis Police are currently investigating the chain of events that took place around 5:00 p.m. when officers encountered a reportedly stolen vehicle at the intersection of South Goodlett and Arrowhead Road, as reported by Action News 5. After the vehicle fled and stopped at a Marathon gas station on 4835 Winchester, three suspects exited and tried to flee on foot.
