Teens drag man by vehicle after carjacking at gas station, police say. MPD said the carjacking happened just after 3 a.m. at a Q Mart on Getwell Road on Wednesday, July 24. The man was sitting at the gas pump in his 2013 Chevrolet Impala when four people approached him, opened his door and demanded his vehicle, police said. MPD said the man tried to hold onto the door and was dragged by the carjackers as they sped off.

On Friday, July 26, Southwest Human Resource Agency will welcome parents and caregivers from throughout the area to Wayne County Libraries for their weekly distribution of free summertime meals.
