Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant returns for night two with ‘Christmas in July’ theme
JACKSON, Tenn. — It’s night two of the Miss Tennessee Volunteer Pageant, and Thursday night’s theme was Christmas in July. “They decided to change it up every night. So each night there will be a different theme and I’ve never seen so many people excited about a different theme,” said Lashonda Williams with the Miss Volunteer Pageants.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Over 3,000 customers were without power Friday afternoon, according to Memphis Light, Gas, and Water (MLGW). A "circuit outage," MLGW said, caused 3,038 customers to be without power Friday afternoon; the most heavily affected areas, according to the MLGW outage map, were in the Cordova, Shelby Farms, and Bartlett areas.
